1260 North Prospect Ave
The building at 1260 North Prospect Ave was built by Harry Grant, former owner of the Milwaukee Journal in 1938. It is an Art Deco Building with a Limestone Façade.
Problem: Deterioration of the flashing system surround the 8th floor balconies allowed water to corrode the structural steel grid that the Limestone panels were resting on.
Solution: Masonry Restoration, Inc was tasked with removing and rebuilding large sections of the limestone façade, removing and replacing structural steel and pouring new balcony floors.
