Located in the Village of Wind Point in Racine County, the 108-foot Wind Point Lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. After decades of moisture-related deterioration, Masonry Restoration, Inc. was engaged to replace damaged limestone, perform complete repointing of the 130-year-old masonry, and apply a mineral-based coating to the entire facade, ensuring both preservation and long-term durability.
Our team began by assessing areas where deterioration was most visible. Crews completed: Historic Preservation, Stone & Terra Cotta Restoration, Waterproofing and Coatings to restore stability and improve exterior condition. These repairs helped ensure consistent exterior performance.
These repairs helped extend the building’s service life and enhance the stability of key exterior elements.
