Founded in 1849, the Krug Brewery—later the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company—grew into Schlitz Park, a complex of approximately 800,000 square feet of historic buildings. Over three years, Masonry Restoration, Inc. Completed extensive facade restorations, including cleaning, brick and terra cotta parapet reconstruction, full repointing, brick replacement, and waterproofing, preserving the character and longevity of this iconic site.

Our Process

We began with a detailed inspection. Crews completed Historic Preservation, Stone & Terra Cotta Restoration, Masonry Rebuilding, Tuckpointing/Repointing, Masonry Restoration to restore stability and improve exterior condition. These repairs helped ensure consistent exterior performance.

The Outcome

The completed restoration improved overall durability and strengthened critical building components.
