Saint Sebastian Catholic Church, founded in 1911 to serve Milwaukee’s growing German Catholic community, has been a cornerstone of faith and education in the area for over a century. The parish grew rapidly, with early school buildings built to attract families and a new chapel completed in 1919. By 1930, the French Gothic-style church was completed, accommodating over 1,100 worshippers and serving as a hub for the community through the Great Depression and World War II. Subsequent decades saw expansions to the school and parish facilities, ensuring St. Sebastian remained a vibrant presence for generations of families. Currently, Saint Sebastian is undergoing a multi-year complete facade restoration. Masonry Restoration, Inc.
