The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), founded from the merger of two Milwaukee medical schools in the early 1900s, became an independent institution in 1967 and moved to the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus in 1978, growing into a major academic medical center. Masonry Restoration, Inc. has completed extensive building envelope repairs across the campus, including glazing of window systems, full sealant remediation, and cleaning and coating of select precast concrete facades.
Masonry Restoration, Inc. started with a detailed review of the facade. Crews completed Building Envelope Repair, Waterproofing and Coatings, Glazing and Window Gasket Replacement to restore stability and improve exterior condition. The completed work helped maintain compatibility among restored materials.
The updated exterior systems now offer improved moisture resistance and long-term reliability.
