Owned by the City of Milwaukee Housing Authority, this 8 story brick building opened in 1964. Shelf Angles, normally located at floor lines, were suspended two feet below to act as both a lintel and Shelf Angle which lead to premature failure of the flashing.
The team started with an on-site evaluation. Technicians executed Flashing Remediation to resolve issues related to material wear and exposure. These efforts improved the stability and durability of the building envelope.
These improvements support more reliable performance of the building envelope.
